Outstanding Rugby Player for the NZ All Blacks and Auckland Blues
There has been a great deal of athletes for the Aotearoa New Zealand All Blacks rugby team over the years. One of these athletes is Robin Brooke who played in the role of lock during his Aotearoa New Zealand rugby career.
Robin Brooke is the youngest of 3 siblings that have all played pro rugby. While not as flamboyant as his brothers, R Brooke nevertheless provided a good deal to his sports team. As a lock, his strength in scrummaging, in addition to other forward aspects made certain he was invaluable to his team.
As with a great number of other All Black players, Robin Brooke Auckland played for his home territory for Super Rugby. Brooke represented the Auckland Blues from 1996 to 2001, after a while becoming skipper for the 2000 and 2001 seasons just before retiring soon after the conclusion of the 2001 rugby season.
